SAGITTARIUS NEW MOON to EMBRACE DIVINE PARADOX

New Moon in Sagittarius is here, exact 5.21pm Dec 1st, AEDT. New Moons are always a fresh emotional perspective, and in Sag we are always searching for an angle to be free: We want to love large, with freedom to share our true feelings with our loved ones, also lots of emotional oxygen to pursue our own quest for a meaningful, liberating life.

So I really love the image I used to illustrate this post-for me it captures the essence of Sag energy. The desire to embody our animalistic, wild nature. Because we can't be tamed and running wild, being our true selves unfettered by bourgeois constraints, is good for our wildling soul. And ok, Sag has appetites, about the indulgent pleasures-and can get carried away having a good time. Also Sag is the eternal seeker of truth, possibly the most religious, shamanic & philosophical because life IS holy, and the most important thing is a sense of meaning in order to live a truly fulfilling life. Sag energy really dislikes boring limitations, cramping our style.

Meanwhile this Moon has complex influences, which tends to frustrate Sag energy-always impatient to get the hell on with it:

New Moon joins Mercury in Sagittarius opposite Jupiter in Gemini. Mercury rules Gemini, but now in Sag and Jupiter rules Sag but now in Gemini. So not only are these planets influencing one another's signs, in an opposition aspect-also they are both retrograde! What the fuq?

Jupiter wants to chase our wildest, visionary dreams-maybe frustrated having to fuq around getting the details right, and explaining ourselves to everybody is bloody tedious. Mercury wants to control freak the details & work things out by talking about it to everyone who will listen-maybe frustrated by delays in the plan and misunderstandings/communication glitches. Ah, the joys of retrograde issues are so magnified right now...

Of course the magic here is to slow the fuq down, open our minds to the bigger picture and figure out what we are really on about. No point trying to force progress just for the sake of creating more drama, in already turbulent times.

Especially this Moon in a grand trine with Mars in Leo & Destiny Point in Aries. We totally have the courage to embrace our passions and sense of purpose right now-and patiently, in our own sweet time.

We can be wild, in terms of trusting our innate, animal instincts as we duck and weave through the crazy world around us. We can be holy, in terms of honouring our own innate wisdom & trust our own connection with divinity, to guide us forward. Happy Sag New Moon, folks x
